The Women in Black were a small but very visible group, inspired by Women in Black from Edinburgh.  The group of protestors stood outside the Scottish Parliament on Tuesday 4 July 2006.  Women in black received a good public response although there was very little media coverage.  Women in Black say they felt glad to stand in solidarity with Code Pink women in Washington outside the Scottish Parliament so that their message could be seen clearly by all who passed by.
