Royal Yacht Britannia arriving in Leith Docks as its final resting place, a boating festival at Newhaven Harbour and the Festival of Sea held in Leith Docks with displays. Once Scotland was famed as a seafaring nation. Boats and craft of all types have travelled all over the world from these destinations. Scotland was famed for its shipbuilding, its seamanship and fishing, but like most ports worldwide, Scotland has had to change with the progression of time.

aim of this site is to give you an insight into this living city which
offers you much more than what most other cities do. It has often been
said that one picture can say a thousand words. The pictures on this site
will hopefully say a lot more than that to you.

Sunday of every month with different selection of photographs which
