The Edinburgh Mardi Gras and Jazz Festival
The Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival is another event that runs in Edinburgh every year. Some of the events are held in the pubs bringing with it some of the greatest jazz and blues musicians on this planet.
Whatever your tastes in blues and jazz, this city has it, that’s why so many people travel the world just to be part of it.

The Mardi Gras and Jazz on a Summers Day are two events that are totally free. This let’s everyone enjoy and sample the sounds that float across the streets. There is nothing nicer than to walk down the Grassmarket when the Mardi Gras is on.

Hearing the sounds of accomplished musicians playing modern and traditional jazz to their audiences on the many stages that are set up is almost heavenly.

The public taking a break on the street
To be able to sit outside a pub and have a light refreshment or a meal makes it a day that won’t easily to be forgotten. Or if you want you can sit on the streets while taking a break from the food stalls and music.
