The choice is up to you
On the Royal Mile during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival
You never know what to expect each year, but be assured, there will be a show that appeals to you in some way. Crammed into a few weeks, this is a must be once in a lifetime event for everyone. Young and old alike.

Sometimes people tend to say that the Fringe is not for the local people because it is too expensive and only for the elite.
That is wrong by anyone's standards. You have venues where tickets are often given away for nothing, or you can watch the entertainment of the Royal Mile for absolutely nothing.
The main venues do charge for tickets, as you would expect when they are bringing some of the worlds greatest musicians, comedians and actors to this city.

Comedian Stephen Amos at the Fringe
Check the prices out on the Internet or at the Fringe office on the Royal Mile and you will be surprised how little tickets really do cost.
For an enjoyable and exciting time, the Fringe venues are a must. Even if you don’t want to go and see a show, you can always sit there and have a meal or a cup of tea and watch the world go by without any pressure on you to buy anything.

Mike McShane at the Fringe
This is a time to enjoy yourselves to the full for very little or nothing. The street entertainment is fun and you never know what to expect.

The Red Chair Players from the USA Winning a Fringe First 2004
The Laramie Project from the USA won a Fringe First at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2002 at C Venue on Chambers Street. This year they came back with a new play and won another award.
Winning a Fringe First delighted this group - The Red Chair Players - with their new play called 'Bang Bang you're Dead. Critics do not hand out awards for nothing, so this group earned their award with a lot of hard work being put into their play and with their acting. A well deserved award for a project that put a lot of work and effort into a play that run from the 4 August until the 14 August 2004.
They left Edinburgh to go back home to America highly delighted that they had won an award again. I have been told that the Laramie Project will be back at C Venue in two years time with a new play.
