Will I be able to work again
Will I be able to work again
There is no reason why anyone with anxiety, depression, insomnia and other stress related illnesses can't work or do something to take their minds off their problems.
They have a need to take their mind off the specific thoughts that they are having so that the can move on.
Doing something is beneficial to the healing process and moving the mind-set onto something other than what is going on in your head is a natural progression of the human being.
When anxiety, depression, insomnia and other stress related illnesses are present, the people suffering from it have a tendency to want to think about what is going on with them.
They start thinking about themselves and their thought processes start getting out of control.
When they start doing that they will put obstacles in their own way because of their thought processes.
This adds to the problems of this type of illness, and it adds to the effects of stress.
When people are unemployed they have a tendency to sit and think about their problems and this magnifies and adds to their stress levels such as anxiety, depression, insomnia and other stress related illnesses.
Sometimes they start thinking that they know what the doctors thinking in their own thought processes.
And they can sometimes start thinking they are more ill than what they are, this adds to their stress levels.
The events in their lives becomes exaggerated, but they haven't become aware of it.
Some people who are in work might find they have a problem with stress.
They can't turn off their thought processes and they start taking their work home with them.
They go home and they start analyzing what they did that day and what they are going to do the next day at their work along with other thoughts, when they have no need to do this.
For most people this is not a problem, but for some it is.
They take their work home with them instead of turning off their thought processes and relaxing.
Over a period of time they will be unaware that they are adding to their problems.
They have set off their thought processes and they are adding to this and other illnesses.
Most people who go through these types of problems are not aware of what they are doing, but if it goes on for a long time, they can find themselves becoming debilitated through their own thought processes and the inability to turn off the thoughts in their brain.
Once this process has been started it is hard to stop if you are unaware that it is happening to you.
Some people become so debilitated that they find it hard to concentrate on their work and the other things that are going on in their lives.
These are the everyday things that they should be concentrating on.
They might go and see their doctor, but the slow process of taking time off their work has also added to their problems.
Some employers do understand the problems of stress and they have programme's in place for their employees so that they can wind down at the end of their working day.
By doing this they are taking care of their employees mental health and they are helping to reduce their employees stress levels and time off work.
Most doctors will assess the problems that their patient is going through.
If over a period of time the patient who's thoughts have become inhibited keeps coming back to the doctor with the same problem, the doctor may have to take the decision that if they were removed from the situation of work related stress, that stress might be removed.
These decisions are not taken lightly by any doctor and a lot depends on the patient, doctor and the employer.
If that persons work is effecting their health through this type of illness, it may be better that they are not in that workplace and that they are moved on for their own health sake.
Most employers will give their employees time to get over their stress and a doctor will try everything to keep them in employment.
Some employers may also shift the person in the workplace in the hope that whatever it is that causing that person to become stressed can be changed by stimulating the thought processes.
This is in the hope that their thought processes change and they are able to move on from their problems.
There may be a need for that person to be taken out of this situation, so they might be medically retired from their job.
That helps to reduce the work related stress the person was going through, especially if it was a work related problem that can't be resolved.
Doctors may be well aware that if this is a working person - someone who likes their work - this might create more stress for a short time until they are able to move on from the events that caused them the stress in the first place.
The person may move on from the problems that they were going through thus helping them in the long term.
The person who has been medically retired will now have to start the slow process of thinking differently.
Some people may shut themselves away for awhile, while some may decide that being unemployed is not for them.
They may think that they have a serious illness when they've not.
No one knows the thoughts that go on in anybody else's head, but you can be rest assured that person is not relaxing their brain enough and they are now adding to their problem.
Anyone going through these types of stress related problems needs to get things into perspective.
It is best for that person to pick themselves up and find out what relaxation is because it may be that they have forgotten how to relax the brain by switching off their thoughts.
Unemployed people do set off their own thought process, and sometime they can be quite negative after awhile if they are unable to find a job that suits them.
They are likely to question everything and put obstacles in their own way.
They have a habit of asking "what if" and saying "I can't do that because", this is a way of thinking.
They are not switching off their thought processes and by not doing this they are adding to their anxieties.
Most people are unaware of what they are doing to themselves because this way of thinking has become a habit, it's become a way of life.
People need to stimulate their brains by going out regularly and seeing and talking to people so that their brains and thought processes don't become concentrated on the negative things in life.
The thought processes have to be kept moving on, and going out and mixing with other people is the only way to do this.
If this is not done the person will go deeper into thought, thus adding to their own stress levels.
